I'm a single parent, and I'm overwhelmed.

Being a single parent is tough. It's common to feel overwhelmed by anxiety and depression, but as parents, our faith in Christ can help. Psalm 34:17 reminds us, "The righteous cry out and the Lord hears them. He delivers them from all their troubles." So how can we as single parents raise our kids without making them fearful? First turn to God and His word. Philippians 4:6 and 7 advises us "not to be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your request to God." Next, take care of yourself spiritually, physically, and emotionally. By relying on God and getting help, single parents can navigate the challenges of raising kids with renewed hope and resilience.
